I'll put this up for a vote... to paint or not

My wheel covers right now are bare stainless that I have polished to a bright shine. I think this looks really good, especially with Astral Silver. I am about to paint my car original colour. I am debating with myself and others if I should repaint them factory style or just leave the blinging polish of bright stainless. Here is a picture of my covers as they are and a factory one. What do y'all think? Thanks

I like both of them... This is the car that survived the tow dolly incident, correct?

I would keep them the way they are now. Polished metal always looks good.

I like the painted look because the Star pops, and looks really cool going down the road.

I usually like matching hubbies, but have to say the chromed look is really good on light metallics like yours. If you had a dark colored car, I'd paint em.
But if you're in for the whole painting kit and kaboodle, why not pick up another used set somewhere, strip em, and borrow a factory hubcap paint mask, and quickly shoot them. It'd be a lot less labor than the rest of the car will be. Then you'll have both...

I like both so pick the one you like best.

If you change your mind, it will be easier to add the paint than to remove it!

I noticed the polished caps before - very classic with a Euro splash.
Keep 'em

Paint.

The polished looks like too much bling for a M/B.
