Lower Cladding Repaint Color?
Hey guys,
I'm having some minor body work done on my one 300SD...I'd like to have them repaint the lower cladding but I cannot find the color code for it My primary color is 473 Champagne Link to ID Plate: http://i98.photobucket.com/albums/l250/MafiaNicky/IMG_9221.jpg Pics of Car: http://i98.photobucket.com/albums/l250/MafiaNicky/IMG_0027.jpg http://i98.photobucket.com/albums/l250/MafiaNicky/IMG_0024.jpg http://i98.photobucket.com/albums/l250/MafiaNicky/IMG_0023.jpg If anyone could point me to the color code. I'd apprecate it. Also: what was the original color of the door handles, mine are a faded grey? were they originally black? Thanks Kris

mb had grey and black door handles. i haven't paid attention as to which chassis had which, and whether there was an indent in the year.

How about some more pics of the SD? Looks like it just came off the showroom floor. 125K miles. Where has it been all these years? How is the interior?

IF you have not already found it.
Dupont dealers are the least likely to have it. Find a dealer/jobber who carries Glasurit brand paint. You might also find it from PPG or R+M Diamont.
In the Glasurit database it will be listed under "cladding and accent."
