Pretty good sized dent, any suggestions?

Hi all,

A few days, with the winter weather and whatnot, this happened to a family member's 96 (not sure of the model). I was pulling it out of a ditch with a tractor, slicker than snot out, and it slid into the 3 pt hitch. Was hoping for some opinions on what can be done. To do it right would probably be very expensive, like replacing the panel and repainting that half of the car, right? Would a bondo fill and touch up look worse than it already does? Any suggestions appreciated.

A good tinknocker can work that steel to where you would only be able to see it if you knew it was there. A combination of stretching and shrinking is the trick, the good thing is that damage is in a place where you can get to the back side of the damage. The restoration and matching of the paint job is where the problem and expense will occur. Good luck! Check to see if there is a trade school or tech school in your area, you might get by only buying a half dozen pizzas and a case of soda for the job!
