This diesel Mercedes is in great condition with a fresh two tone paint job. Just changed the oil and the fuel fitler and adjusted the valves. Runs great. All the gauges work with the exception of the clock and the odometer. Power windows, sunroof, and front seats all work great. My name is Geoff please give me a call (707) 478-5106

I think it would cause many a driver to get a lot of tickets...
everyone's eyes... including the cops... would just naturally be drawn to that paint scheme.

Perhaps its a sign of a bad economy. Where I grew up any body shop would walk you right out of the door if you made a request to defile a luxury vehicle.

I'm very disappointed with the ethics of any "professional" that would accept a job like this from a customer.

I do kind of like the change to later style headlights.

UH.... I thought when you owned a car you were allowed to pay some professional to paint it like you want it... of course that sometimes involves advertising the fact that you have NO TASTE.... LOL

Maybe that was all the ' anti- theft ' package he could afford...
Who would steal that car with it painted that way ?

Ah, that is precisely my point a "professional" would turn someone away for requesting such a hideous paint job.

I can not ' go with' a paint shop having the responsibility of determining the colors a customer's car is painted... the quality of the application ---yes... but not the final decisions on the car owned by someone else... this is still a free country in most respects.

That is the way I would want a W116 300SD painted, only in dark brown and beige.

The title of this thread is completely misleading.
I can't "think" when I look at that car.

Looks like a good time to run away from it. I'm willing to bet it is hiding a few pounds of bondo under there.
