Fiberglass airdam repair.

Lost my airdam of my Volvo 780 bertone when I did a 360 on the freeway a couple of months ago during the rains. Finally I found one (almost impossible to get for this car) but have to repair a small crack and I like to make the airdam stronger, it's pretty flimsy. I was thinking about putting some layers of fiberglass on the back of the airdam.

Any tips or suggestions?
