Does anyone know where to get moulding clips for an '82 300 TD? I am going to be putting my car in the shop to get it painted and already broke some of the clips that hold the trim on to the bottom of the front fender.

So far I've used the dealer. Some bits can be expensive - on a W123 the rear trim strips at waist height are held on with rubber grommets that cost about a euro a piece (and I think there are 20 of them). But other bits like the rivet like plastic bits that hold on the long rubber strip that goes under the doors on a saloon cost 50 euro cents a piece...

I've not found out who makes them or whether you can get them outside of the dealer / expensive specialist circle.
