About to paint 190E Questions

Did a lot of searching but need help. I am painting a 190e and want to remove the trim. If anyone can help I would appreciate it.

1. Roof mouldings. Do they lift striaght up like in the post here describing a T cross section. From what I gather do I just gently lift straight up on them with a plastic wedge?

2. Are the star and emblem on the trunk glued on?

3. It is two tone. What do you think about painting the cladding the same color? Should it be removed?

4. Does the cladding need special prep or paint?

5. Do the door panels need to be removed to remove the handles?

Thanks
CHarlie

are you near Jersey?

I just found a U-Pull yard on 322 - south of Williamstown, NJ

They have a 190E you could play with.
