This happen this morning on my 91 300d 2.5td, front right side coil spring upper mount broke off the body.
Has this happen to anybody else with W124?

Well I think at the right shop in can be repaired. But will it coast more then the car is worth? How is the rest of the underbody? That can't be the only rust problem you have. But it is sad, salt and water will do that much damage.

That is the only rust problem that is stopping me from enjoy driving the car right now.The car does have light rust. Its a 20 years old car in the north east coast, but that is the worst spot. I already put the Benz up for sale. I don't have the time or funds to work on it.

That is some MAJOR structural rust. Think about how bad it could be where you can't see......that car is parts material unless you find a dedicated soul to save it.

Correction, that is the worst spot you can currently SEE.

That car is doomed. I'd find a nice W124 body needing a new driveline.

How many miles on it? I'm sure the engine/transmission/many other parts could live on in other cars....

You need to build a garage to avoid that paint problem.
