Alright, I was cleaning the battery terminals on the 1991 560SEL and accidentally left the battery post cleaner resting on the coolant reservoir. I slammed the hood and (I think) the battery post cleaner left a very slight pimple in the hood. I am thinking of using a heat gun/can of compressed air method to hopefully smooth out the dent. Should I work the heat gun/compressed air from the underside of the hood? BTW, the car has a fairly new Alpine White paint job.

Anyone try or use this method?

I've had success with this method, but I used dry ice instead. It is much colder.
