Clear Coat Yellowing..... or Faded Paint??

Here's a car I'm planning to purchase. The pic looks like either yellowing of clear coat or faded paint:

1982 240d for sale in Me.

Seller tells me its got original paint but has been sitting under pine trees...... am hoping for cosmetic upgrade to my badly dinged, rusty fendered and bumper chrome peeling '79 240D.

What says the forum about restoring original w123 black paint to look like new - can it be done...... or is it clearcoat yellowing that cant be restored??

From my experience with vintage 220Sb's original MB black paint can be compounded, buffed and restored....... but its the possibility of yellowed clear coat that makes me wonder. Did all w123 cars come with factory clearcoat that sometimes fades?
