You guys should see my 116! It has about 4 different holes in the rockers, some bubbling around the front fenders and bondo coming apart behind the rear wheels, anyone interested? I just redid the front-end, so at least it rides nice!
Thanks
David

Hello David
I may be interested.
Post a couple of pictures and e-mail or PM me with price.
Selling a 4X4 Ford Bronco II and may have space for another diesel MB.
I may use the w116 for the following thread idea.

Wow, are these cars the exception or the norm? Are there any "rust free" old cars in MI?

I don't see too many rusted out cars here in the Northwest unless I go to the coast. I have seen my share of rusted out wrecks in the junk yards, some that had no floors to speak of. Those would make a good Flintstone car.
My father knew someone who got so angry while driving their car, the guy put his foot through the floor board because he had so much rust in his car.

I have not tried to fix it. It's the only major rust and it had not changed since I found it 2 months ago.

I sprayed some anti-rust paint over it to help slow it down.
