A/C dye damages paint?
I had A/C checked and repaired.
On the driver’s side, I see green dye on painted area under the hood. Does the dye damage the paint? Should I wash it? The tech found leaking valve, amd R134 adapter.

the dye itself may not dmg paint, but the oil that's probably mixed with it can. i would gently wash with mild soap and flush with water. being careful not to splash on all the electrical parts in the area. definitely couldn't hurt.
