those things are so cool. I was told long ago that the chrysler imperial was banned as a demolition derby car because it was too damn tough!

My best friend has a restored '67 Imperial, and it is a really nice car. Totally cool, since so few people know about Imperial's.

We went to an Imperial car club show in Palm Springs the other weekend, and there was about 20 or so Imperials from mainly the 50's and 60's.

Saw the new Imperial concept at the Detroit auto show and it actually looked very good. Loved the suicide doors.

Yeah, I saw pictures of it in the current edition of Automobile magazine. It appears it is going to be built, and they are using a stretched version of the Chrysler 300 chassis.

It also has a huge, upright grill, much like that on the current Rolls Royce.
