'89 300TE Headlamp

My Mother-in-law has an 89 300TE which recently took a stone to the driver's side headlamp.

The lens appears to be held in place by a couple clips. Is that the case? If so, any idea where one might acquire the glass? How much is involved in doing the repair? I could be mistaken but it seems pretty simple & straight forward.

Thanks for your help.

Initially I did not realize I could get the part for $81.38 here. New to the site.

Anyone know how much work is involved?

Removing and replacing the headlight assembly is child's play (well, almost).

Do a search here and there will be instructions.

If not, e-mail me and I may be able to find the pics from when I changed my 1989 300TE lights to Euro lights.

I posted pics and instructions on Benzworld.com.

Here is the link.

Let me know if it works. It really is very simple.
