Power window adjustment

I have a 2000 CLK430 whose driver-side rear window seems to close "too much". It now protrudes into the space for the driver door window to rise and I cannot close the window without opening the door. I believe it may be the window regulator at fault. My question is can it be adjusted, remounted? The up/down function works as expected but it does not stop in the right place when closed.

Rgds, Ed

Looking for data

This is not a simple question, the answer will take a bit of time to dig out.
