inpact strips bumper 300-E & grill

How difficult is it to remove and replace the front and rear impact strips on a 1992 300-E w124?
Second. I want to replace my standard inner grill with a premium 600 grill what is involved with this job and what is the correct part number and year grill insert to ask for?

You have to remove both bumpers to remove the impact strips,,,, not a hard job at all. Just look under the car and it will all come to you. The rear bumper just has bolts in the back,, none on the sides. Don't know anything about the grille you mentioned.

I have done both the front and rear impact strips on my 1991 300E and neither bumper had to be removed.

Both strips are attached to the sides with 3 or 4 screws on each side. Then there are many tabs that you just push into the bumper.
