How much front end damage is too much??
OK, experts, please examine this pic and tell me if it's too much front end damage to repair, or is this a good candidate for parting out???? 1982 or 83 300D....Driver side fender has a crease in it tooo....

that looks very repairable.
the car is probably totalled though. it only will work financially if you do the work yourself and buy used parts. dont bother to try and straighten the hood they are about impossible to straighten. if you decide to fix it i have an extra hood and right front fender that i will sell for a reasonalbe price. oh, i also have several good front bumpers. it is a 123, right? tom w

Yes, it's an 82 or 83 300D, W123....Yes, I'd be doing the work myself...I also have a hood and a parts car that has decent fenders on from which to get parts from...The owner thinks the unibody is too damaged for him to repair...But I don't think he's one to be cutting off the bad parts and welding stuff back together either....Car rammed a tow truck..Odometer shows only 123 thou on the clock...Interior is in great shape for the mileage...Thanks for the opinion..
