Rust Problem 76 300D 115 need advice... (lots of pics!)

I got this great lookin 76 300D with the hopes of fixing it up, but now I'm having second thoughts. After jacking up the car, I finally got a good look at the rust underneath, and it's worse than I thought.
I guess my question would be: Is this car worth working on?
Take a look at the pics, lemme know what you think!

Interior is rough too...

There's a long list of other problems... the interior is pretty bad, the starter doesn't work, and it probably has compression problems, maybe tranny problems, too.
What would you guys do with this sleeper?

What would I do?

Put it to sleep or spend a grand or two to fix that rust properly.

Man, that's pretty damn rusty. I wish I had some useful advice for you. I felt obligated to leave a post since I've got a 76' 300D just like that. The rust problem on mine is probably about as extensive as yours. I can tell you what I'm going to do with it pretty soon. I'm going to get rid of it because I just don't have the money to restore a car with rust like that. But, on the other hand, if you have enough money to repair all that rust, have it painted, and get it running again, I know from experience that a 70s model 300D is very pleasant to drive.

Wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy cheaper to buy another one. Rust is like cancer, the only way to beat it is to detect and treat early. If you really like the 115, use this one for a parts car and look for one with little to no rust and a good engine. There out there and there not expensive but fixing this car would be. Time is money.
