Rear Window Install
 

Hello All! Seeking a recommendation for someone to remove/replace rear window and seal on my 82 300D in Dallas,TX area. Any info appreciated.

I don't know of anybody in TX, but... I can tell you that there are quite a few who have done it themselves - you'll find them in the Diesel Discussion. (I'm one of them :) )

I need to, and whunter's told me how, but I'm a bit of a coward about it. I come in to Dallas regularly, and would love to know if you've found someone that was reasonable AND did a good job -- I know, it's asking a lot to get both....!

I was always scared of doing it myself, but it turned out to be very very easy to do. Just wrap string around the seal and pop it in. Did the rear window in my 190e and the front + rear windshields in the w114. Hardest part is getting the seal to pop in over the headliner.
