i looked in all my books that came with the car and it looks like there is a page that the PO put in. it list the "paint upper: 000" and "paint low:623".

one of the auto shop located "623" as a light ivory. does that seem right ? its kind of a "butter" color.

Correct. 623 is "Hellelfenbein" or "Light Ivory" which seems a completely incorrect description of the color to me. It's simply cream. But whatever. It's the same as on mine.
