Paint Color Question ??
We're going to repaint my son's '82, 240D from a dull, silver blue to the MB Silver color.
Doesn't anyone have the reference number for that color? BTW, could the same color be used for the rims as well? Thanks Diesel Don

The non metallic gray is 740 The wheel color is 081
The metalics - dary gray is 172 and the light gray is 735 (hard color to shoot) at least for me

Some images are slightly off but at least you get an idea of how they generally look. At least it also gives the years the paint codes were offered! Metallic and non-metallic codes are also listed.
