Condensation? I'd try starting it before pulling the head. Lots of sitters been started with the help of this forum.

Been sittin maybe 8-10+ yrs at Wisconsin huh? Look for piston rings rusted solid in their grooves when you pull the cyl head. Hells bells, rings might even have rusted their way into the bores themselves probly pitted. Condensation over time from inside out kills plenty of engines. Thats why you gotta laugh at sellers handing out bull***** like "it ran excellent when parked (12-20 yrs ago)."

So true. That's why buyers must be cautious of cars that have not been run for more than a year, especially if it was sitting outdoors for that time.

Yep and never believe for one god-damned New York minute the amount of time they claim it's been sittin..... "couple of years" is usually more like 6-10.
