SLK32 Rear Bumper
Is the SLK32 Rear Bumper mounted differently than an SLK 320 or 230? I need to replace my bumper, and I'm having difficulty finding an affordable part. The dealership can order the part for about $1200. I'm trying to find a less expensive solution. Thanks!

I called PGA and they can get a new bumper cover for an AMG for $250, he was unable to clarify if the cover is everything visible excluding mounts and shocks or if it's just part of the visible bumper. I'm not sure of the terminology so does anyone know if cover refers to everything you see on the outside of the car? Also, pepper can you get some pics in here some time today?

Here are a couple pics of the damage. It sounds like the bumper cover is exactly what I need. The damage seems to be purely cosmetic. I haven't noticed any problems with anything else.

When I called a local Benz dealer, they told me that there's an upper bumper cover, a lower bumper cover, and that the impact strip is 3 parts - right, center, and left. I understand the impact strip, but how is the bumper cover multiple parts? It appears to be a single part.
PG Auto has the bumper cover including the impact strips with a "small" scratch on it. I'll go take a look at it this weekend and see if that fits the bill.

Unless they changed their hours, PGA isn't open on weekends.
I tried to look at EPC for a pic of what they're seeing, but its apparently not working at the moment.

ok EPC is back up.
20 and 290 would be the pieces you need. There's an inner cover and outer cover, but not upper and lower. Please tell me you didn't call my shop, those guys should know better then that!
