Sunroof delete panel..?
 

I have the part number, 1246570609, what I wonder is if anyone has ever deleted the sunroof, and if it's easier to just have a body shop weld it all closed or get the new panel? Has anyone ever removed the panel, what's involved in all that?

Depending on the car, finishing off the interior would be tough. Most MB's come with sunroofs in the US.

I have welded panels over sunroofs, always to lighten cars for racing, but the visual wasn't stunning. I would think it would be better to fix the roof, but I don't like a car w/o a sunroof. (Living in cleveland you need to get the sun when it is available.)
