Need some help rust restoration 1964 impala ss

I have had a 1964 impala ss for 12 years and done nothing with it. I want to start working on it. It has some rust needs front in parts and i dont really know where to start. I think i should get it sand blasted and see where i stand but dont know if thats the right thing to do. If you can help me let me know. Thanks, Joe
