300d w123 Torsion bar support body rot & rust
 

Does anyone have any suggestions or experience repairning the part of the frame (body ) where the torsion bar (sway bar) attaches too on the passenger side of the car under the batter tray?

I do not know if I have a problem there yet but my Hood Pivot Pin by the Battery Tray rusted out so there is a good chance under it could be rusted to.

I would like to here from someone on that also.

My best guess is that if the Metal is gone it has to be replace. Assuming there is no place to attach the Sway Bar Bushing (I bought the Bushings but have not attempted replacement).

Is there extensive rust around the pivot pin?
