1999 Mercedes E320 rusting inside and out
Please help! My car is rusting so badly that when I went to have a tire replaced, the lug nut sheered off because the lug nuts were so badly rusted in. I took my car to the dealer (dreaded doing so because of $) to fix the tire. Today, the service rep called and told me "Nancy, I going to recommend that you get rid of the car". I felt sick to my stomach. He said it is rusting inside and out - like a cancer - and that it will eventually break down. Said the pulleys were corroded, and springs were also.
I DO NOT have the money to fix it (he said it would ultimately cost more than the car is worth) nor do I have the money to buy anything like this ever again. What should I do? Thanks! Nancy in New Jersey |

Airbag still O.K. ?
'Put Prius logos on front and back...
'take out a pine tree with it @ about 25MPH and see what Toyota will do for you. Seriously,Get a second opinion from a reputable Independent. Put up some pictures and we could give you our opinion of the damage. If you don't have the time or money to fix it, you'll either have to sell it or keep driving it until it does fall apart or you can fix it.
