Crinkled up inner plastic door window surround

I understand that they are NLA. Any aftermarket suppliers? Any other solutions besides just removal. It makes my car's interior look really shabby.

That's disappointing! Do these ever come up used in good shape or are the vast majority all distorted? Do certain colors crinkle more readily than others?

I have seen very "decent" ones at the yard but good luck trying to remove them -- they fall apart no matter how careful or slow I go.

This is quite a letdown. These cars were so mass produced and so many remain on the roads today. It boggles me that MB would be OK with letting us have cars with such obvious cosmetic eyesores and not produce replacement parts. I have no real way to make my interior presentable.

An application of 6 ounces of a high quality vodka will temporarily help the appearance of the wrinkled vinyl. Mixed properly it also enhances the looks of the opposite sex, your singing/athletic abilities and increases the humor in weak jokes.

I know of no other remedy.

***CAUTION**** If you DRIVE the car during the application of vodka, wrinkles may appear in different parts of the car!! As always, if an erection lasts more than 4 hours during the use of this product, please consult your physician but only if you find them attractive.

I'm confused - do you mean the trim on the inside of the A pillar that clips off?

I just removed all of what was left on my wagon. The body color is under there as long as it wasn't repainted a different color. You may have to clean off a few adhesive globs, but it looks fine without anything there and MUCH better than the crinkled and cracked pieces.
