Penetrol as Rust Treatment
I read about this on an MG forum. The guys were just buying Penetrol from their local paint or box store and spraying that on.
In distant past, I had used Penetrol to improve flowability of paints. Also used it to make faded gelcoat on boats look better (for a while). But as a rust treatment?? However, looked the company up and found this link from Aus. The Flood Company Australia » Anti Corrosion Products » penetrol-anti_rust Found this from a Porsche owner on Pelican Parts: Rust treatment using Penetrol - Pelican Parts Technical BBS Never seen the spray cans with Rust Treatment on them, but the regular stuff is available everywhere. Apparently it sprays easily (even with a garden sprayer!) I am thinking of using it to spray inside the rockers on my recently weld repaired 300D. Main reason is it is easier to spray than the heavier oil and wax treatments. Anyone have any experience with this?

worth a try, it would be great to use such a product and finish off with 3M rust fighter wax.
