Rust! passenger front steel sunroof drain tube
Well, I found the dreaded rust... The passenger front steel drain tube is rusted at the end. Guess R.T.V. is not going to be the best solution for the leak. What should I do?

You're talking about the sunroof drain, correct? Can you post a pic? Is there enough tube left to slip a plastic or rubber hose over?

I don't remember the size of the drain tube offhand, but the idea I have is to drive the car over to the FLAPS or hardware store, and see if they have a bit of clear plastic hose. Get a length of it to go OVER the pipe very tight, then the other end should be able to fit snugly into the black drain hose- either that or get a short piece of copper pipe to use as a splice and cut and lengthen the rubber hose you have, using the copper and some clamps to lengthen it in the middle far enough to go up higher on the drain tube. Make sense?
