Phosphoric Acid based Rust Remover

Howdy,

call me nuts .. but I am going to do a full restore on 1 (maybe 2 ) 1962 W110. The ol' OM621/III in one and the OM621/VIII for the other are already done.

so, now I have to remove some pitted rust, I am looking for a Phosphoric Acid gel type rust remover.
All the products I know from Germany of course are not avail here. ( Like Pelox RE or Deox )

Any hits are highly welcome

Thanks
Oskar

It would help if we knew where you were. I go to Home Depot and get liquid acid, not the gel type.

Ok, I have updated my profile. I am in Lyons, CO..

The reason why I want a gel type is I have surfaces where a liquid would just run off - gel sticks

I've used phosphoric acid with detergent, and sulfamic acid crystals for years as a stain/corrosion/rust/cleaning agents. I sourced these items through masonry supply stores.
