purchased a 1980 240D with 4spd manual today. front fenders are really rotten with gaping hole in one side. I have a 1981 300D with a locked up motor with very nice body panels on it.
can I use the 81 fenders as the car is also a W123? also what is involved in the fender removal, or can anyone steer me to another thread where its been done. I did some searching but did not find the info I was looking for.
always wanted a manual shift W123, pretty happy with the little bugger.
car also needs a master cylinder I think, fluid full no evident leaks and pedals goes to the floor.
my 240D is at my house, my 81 300D is at my dad's farm just over an hour drive away.
any help > advice appreciated, haven't been on here for a while since I had my 85 300D turbo aprox 5yrs ago.
