Anyone ever see a DC Impact Wrench like this one?

These are often used on military vehicles such as HMMWVs and MRAPs but I have not been able to secure either a civilian or a military manual, even with the NSN/ National Stock Number.

Anyone have some good sources?

I have already called the company multiple times, called staff of the Army's MRAP program, called US Army New Equipment Training, and the Tank Automotive, Armor and Ammunition Command, so please don't ask " Did you call the manuafacturer?"

I've called everyone but the three-star general in charge of Army Logistics. Don't have his phone number... yet.

bump

still no info on this impact and no one seems to have any documentation, but it has a government stock number.

JUst need instructions to check it out and the proper way to charge it without ruining anything.

Thanks!

Why not try your local National Guard base?

Not trying to be smart but ...

did you look at this?

Features: Portable Impact Wrench | Portable Torque Wrench | DC Impact

It says that the DC Impact is designed to perform many of the same tasks as a 1/2 inch drive pneumatic impact wrench.

Here is the manual for Harbor Freight's 1/2" impact wrench....
http://manuals.harborfreight.com/manuals/68000-68999/68424.pdf
They also have a 12 volt model that barely produces 80 ft lb so there's no comparison, plus yours has a battery pack

I would charge it up and try it out.

It looks pretty cool....
