Has anyone retrofitted W140 bumper covers to fit a 124?
 

I need to replace both front and rear bumper covers on my S124. The rear bumper is obviously difficult to find. I could get a set of W140 covers from the local yard for pretty cheap, and I feel like the rear is long enough for the wagon. I know I would need to cut them in half and trim them to fit the width then fix them back together and bondo or whatever. Curious if anyone has done it so I can see what it would look like.
