Rust and repainting questions...

My front doors are rusting, and rusting bad enough that I believe it is not worth trying to fix. I have found brand new doors on www.adsitco.com for 400 or 500 bucks a pop and 95 bucks used. Used doors are probably rusting like mine anyways so I don't think I'll go with them. Since the body has rust in other spots that are easily fixed should I just get those repaired or should I just go the whole way and get the entire car repainted? If I were to get the car repainted I'd probably go with metallic black.

I also have the dilemma of if I just get the new doors repainted that the color will not match the car, even if it is the factory color. Since the car is 18 years old it definately has faded.

Oh yeah and my hole things for the jack are rusting... is this a problem? Or should I not worry about that.

Any thoughts? Ideas? Tips?

Thank you.

If you go with the used doors clean inside the door cavity and coat with rust converter to preserve them. You can match the paint, but it would take a really good body man with lots of experience. I take it they salt the roads where you are. After the repairs you might consider an undercoatand. Also spraying off the underside of your car frequently in the winter months. If your jack points are rusting through, if its just the pipe pieces have thenm replaced. If your rocker panels are rusting through you have a more severe structural problem.
