Desperate for GOOD mechanic!

I have recently lost a mechanic who was so good he ruined me for all others. I have a 1976 European model 280 E and I live in Los Angeles. Anyone got a lead for me?

Thanks, Dan, for the link; unfortunately, it yielded nothing in LA. Surely there is at least one good shop in all of Los Angeles! I mean, this is the Mecca of vintage Mercedes. Alas…

If you're on the west side and the valley is too much of a trek give Tony Caldas a call at Europa Motors. He's a superb one man operation who is upfront, knows his stuff, and maintains personal attention while keeping costs to a minimum. at 1924 14th Street, Santa Monica, CA 90404. (323) 392-3229. I was first a customer and am now a good friend. He too is from Spain....what a small world.

Hey Dana, did you put a ski rack on your 2.5? I thought I saw you on the 210 East around 6PM or so a few weeks ago....that car is rare I thought I saw you driving it.

How about giving a clue as to where in LA you are, I have one in the South Bay.
