Odomoter Repair- SF Bay Area

Hey, I am looking for a reputable shop that can fix the odometer in my euro. I have taken a look at it and wanted to do dieselgiant's thing but I don't want to mess it up because it is in my euro and is kilometers. I have a feeling it would be a little harder to replace that. I am willing to drive, around to the shop. I am next to San Jose. Thanks for any leads.

Well it slips. It stops at the 9/10's in the trip meter and that stops both. It usually works when the engine is cold but when it warms up it heats up that area and it begins to slip. Is it possible to take out the odometer from the speedometer?
