Free 1984 300sd

Hello, I just got a 1984 300sd given to me by my mother in law and I a looking for a good shop in the San Jose Ca area. The car is a little rough and will need a new tranny sometime in the near future and I would love to take it to a shop I can trust. I had the ignition break on me it was the tumbler so I had to have the car towed because the key won't turn. I took it to Tri-Star motor sports in Campbell, Ca but I really don't know if they are the best shop to use. They have had my car a week already and say they have to drill the lock to get it out. Something about to remove the lock cylinder the key needs to be in the 1 position and it won't move at all so they said it had to be drilled. Anyone who knows a great shop and tells me that would be great.
