West LA Automotive Center? OK for Repairs?

I need to get my speedometer repaired and just wondered how these folks are to deal with? Any experiences with them from anyone on the forum?

I don't know anything about them I do however feel very comfortable recommending Mr. MB Motors in Tarzana.

You wont be disappointed with mr mb motors in tarzana, I have used enrique for years with previous benzes my family owned, and his work is excellent and well priced. He is also an MB specialist,a nd ownly works on mercedes.

I had him rebuild my tranny a few months back, I've put on 3000 smooth shifting miles. He only charged me like $1700. I also had him pop in my lowering springs, so the bill came out a bit more than just the tranny rebuild.

I know he is a bit more of a drive than west LA, but its well worth the trip.

When I had my MGB, I had a guy in chatsworth, who did great work on my car. it always drove better when I got it back. It was a drive for me, but well worth it.

If you want someone a bit closer on the west side, try beverly hills car service in santa monica on lincoln. Talk to eduardo. He also does good work, but he works on more than just mercedes. he works on just about anything.

Either way, you will not be disappointed with your car afterwards, or your wallet.

I have used both these mechanics for a long time.

Check the good shops forum for more information.

Thanks guys. The problem I am experiencing at this time is a non-functioning speedometer. I have never had an electronic re-build work performed so I am kind of in the dark on where to go for this. I think I'll give the w. LA folks a shot at it and see what comes of it.
Thanks again.
