I have not been there in person, but I came across the place when I was doing research on what to do with my totaled 300D. (Ended up giving it to the insurance company, as the sales tax alone for keeping the car was about $800! No space to part her out, either.)

They deal exclusively with 1980s or older Mercedes. Not sure if they sell whole parts cars, but they have them.

I've never wandered around a salvage yard. It sure would be fun to do so in one dedicated to the cars I love most.

The rest were crappy--including a 1970 Orange Gremlin.

I'd expect that most, if not all, of the salvage yards in CA have mercedes in stock. Certainly all of the yards near San Diego maintain a steady supply.
