Machine shop in San Diego area?

Can anyone recommend a good machine shop in the San Diego area to refurb an M103 SOHC cylinder head? Needs valve job, including guides, etc.

Thanks!

Glen,
I can heartily recommend Tony Clarkin at 619-997-9573 (9220 Dowdy Drive Suite B off Miramar Road). He diagnosed the issues and rebuilt the head on my 87 300TD 15,000 miles ago. Old school expertise and all of the right tools.

Thanks for the recommendation, I'll definitely give them a call next time. This time, I'm trying a shop a friend recommended.

Steve: unfortunately, by the time I received those recommendations, I had already had the head redone at another shop recommended by a friend...which was only mediocre. Although to be fair, the head now has 15K miles since the rebuild and the car runs well overall.
