Glass Shop in the Sacramento Area
 

Anybody know of a good place to take my 240D? The windshield is good, but the gasket is shot and leaks when it rains. Apparently some glass shops won't even touch an old MB. . .WTF?

Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

You just want the seal replaced?

Ideally, yes. I'm hoping to not have to buy a new windshield as well. . .

Did you find anyone? I too am looking for my front and rear seals replaced. I'm hesitant to just pick someone at random. Replacement banana glass (front and rear) for a W110 would break the bank.

I'm down in the SFBay area myself.

I got a recommendation from Frank's Automotive on Folsom Blvd., but have been putting it off. I am planning to do it in the next month. Frank's recommendations were:

A Auto Glass (ask for Mark) - 916 871 3727
Scott's Mobile Glass - 916 481 0139

I haven't scoped them out yet, but I would start with these guys. How soon are you looking to get this done??
