My 1984 300SD sunroof stopped working after sounding like there was a banshee in the trunk. I was thinking the sunroof motor was bad or at least I had a broken or jammed cable. After checking with more than one
shop that didn't really want to tackle it, I was referred to these guys.
They told me 30 to 60 minutes to determine the exact problem.
I was envisioning several hundred dollars plus parts. It turned out the
sunroof transmission and cable tension needed adjusting, they cleaned and lubed the mechanism and slides. An hour's labor, no parts and I was on my way with a quiet and working sun roof. Very pleasant surprise.
About an hour drive for me but I will use them from now on.:bounce:
