I've been using these guys for the past 4 years with my 84 300SD. While I wouldn't describe them as cheap, they are honest, knowledgeable, trustworthy, organized and thorough.

John and Steve are the owners. I deal mostly with John, as he has more of a diesel background, however they are both excellent. This is a busy shop that services mostly Mercedes, however they also work on BMW and Volvo. All I am comfortable doing on my car, as far as maintenance goes, is simple stuff such as fuel filter changes. I've also done some minor vacuum line work. Everything else I use these guys for. I just bought an 86 SDL and I'm sure that Classic German Motors is going to become very familiar with it.
