Good diesel mechanic?
 

hi folks- can anyone recommend a great, reliable, trustworthy diesel mechanic in the southern cal area, preferably pasadena area? thanks in advance!!!

I found Enrique on this forum _ do a search here and in the good shops section _ and am thrilled with his work. Many here consider him one of the best indies in L.A.

Yes, and yes. CARAM Engineering in Pasadena at the Madre Street off ramp. 626-795-9738. Carl is the owner as well as a working VERY knowledgable mechanic. 30 years experience. He knows MFI pumps too as he worked for Fairchild Engineering on the Bosch bench. Fair and honest and does not advertise since his business is well known among the other auto shops. Carl is often sent vehicles from local dealers when they can't figure out a fix.

No question or contest here, Mr MB Motors and Eagle Auto Electric (David who Enrique refers over for alternators etc).He is in Northridge (just down the street).And if you are unfortunately in Bakersfield I can tell you where not to take it.And first on that list is Kern County's authorized Mercedes Benz dealer,Mercedes Benz of Bakersfield (aka Sangera ********).Yes I hate deep and hate forever.:D

Well, it would be better if you tell us here about your engine problem. I will refer you direct to a good diesel mechanic who will do his job in quite reasonable rates. How do you guys rate diesel mechanic for your work as I see only previous experiences.
