Trap oxidizer replaced by Canadian dealer?
Hey guys,
I picked up a 1985 300td that's originally from California that still has what looks like the original trap oxidizer. Does anyone know if Canadian dealers honor the service bulletin from Mercedes about replacing the trap? Thanks, Tim |

The car was built for California if it has the trap oxidizer, you may get lucky and find the factory Campaign is still open. If not then there is a bypass pipe (search the Forum for info) to use in place of the Trap. Nasty Trap! get rid of it!
Let us know what the dealer says.

If not honored in Canada. A dealer just south of the border may. Talk to a Canadian dealer or an official mercedes official if the dealer tries to put you off.
