'95 E420 antenna rubber seal

The blackrubber seal at the base of my antenna mast, on the exterior of the car, is cracked. I'd like to replace it. Does anyone have a part number for this? Is it easy to replace?

Thanks in advance.

If its anything like the antenna seal on my 560SL, it will be very simple. You'll probably have to remove the antenna motor housing along with the antenna by carefully sliding it down and out from around the old seal. Then carefully remove the old seal making sure not to scratch the car.Again be very carefull when placing the new seal (you may need a small flat head screwdriver to get it down properly. Now just slide the antenna back up through the new seal. The antenna probably has a ball on the bottom end of it which will make it difficult to place all the way back up into place. If this happens just put a little vaseline on the ball and it should slide right into place.

I just did this last week on my '95 E320 W124, which is the same chassis as your E420.

No antenna motor etc etc to remove......

Its dead easy you just pull it off and pull it up towards the sky, there are some small ridges that keep in in place thats all - or- a friction fit if you will. I can post some pics if you like.

Its made of plastic not rubber as well and was very cheap at my local dealer.

Should take you a whole 30seconds to do.
