PLEASE HELP!!! 1996 E300d: moving cd changer to glove box

how do I wire it from the radio to the glove box? when it is set to be plugged in the trunk?

Also need help with bad radio reception. can the analog cel phone antenna be used or how can I boost reception?

I have made them before but it is probabally more cost effective to order anther stock cd harness from the dealer possibly for a 1998 slk so it wont be so long. I dont have the price but I think it is @ $100.00

As far as reception let me know what happens on am when you hit scan does the tuner stop on all the stations?

It gets reception in town Nashville, Tn . If I 'm 25 miles away or so I pick up only 2 AM stations?!!! And Half my FM are fussy. It does have a tinted back window. Is there anything that can boost the reception. Can the Analog cel phone antenna be used ???? How would I control the antenna to go up or down since the cel phone on or off did that??

The power antenna can be used and since the window is tinted it is your only and best option. All you need is a splitter and a coaxial extension cable that will plug into the stock coax cable at the booster in the left rear pillar and extend down the the power antenna in the trunk. You will also need to run the trigger wire from the booster down to the power antenna to trigger the antenna. The splitter mounts onto the antenna and allows both the cell phone and the am/fm to come off the antenna at the same time. This part is used on 91 to 95 cars.
