This is driving me nuts! Intermittent problem - radio will flash code "test" for fraction of a second after turning key to "run". then the number display will go blank and I will have no radio at all. The balance feature shows and other things show, just no numbers. Tape will play when this occurs but will not play radio. The radio will not shut off with power button at this point. I will have to pull the #2 fuse to shut the radio off (sometimes I can randomly push the number buttons and it will then display numbers and play). I can then reinsert the fuse and radio will play as usual with display intact. This problem only happens occasionally - maybe once or twice a month (I am a fanatic about things working correctly in my car - even though it is 14 yrs. old). Should I call a priest?!!
