1988 W124 300E cabin to engine wiring.
Installed a luv-r-ly new bass box in the rear first aid shelf.., and it sound great!
But I have a BIG problem. I need to get my lovely thick wiring direct to the car battery. I currently run the wire to the left (from back) of the rear seat, along the floor by the passneger seat.. with all the other wires.. However, how do I break through from cabin to engine bay? I can't suss it.. -- currently I duck out through a whole uder the car and back up into the engine!

there is a panel behind the battery. remove it on you will see a big grommet deal. you can go through there.
Otherwise you can go through the drivers side if you pull the fuse box by looseinging it off it's mounts, you can get the wire through there. I prefer going by the battery. shorter run of cable. Alon

I saw that hole (behind the battery).., but the next question is where do I find it in the cabin?

it'll be above the kick panel. near the air vent. if you push it through enough you shoul dbe able to get it it. may have ot remove the lower dash panel piece, the plastic one to get at it.
you could also remove the inside of the glove box to get at it. Remove the kick panel and you should have no problem Alon
